Initially introduced to bridge at the age of 11 by mother Olivia, by 16 the twins were the youngest ever players in the World Olympiad in Miami, and soon they went on to become European Champions and World Junior champions.

Jeff Morris who runs the Manchester Bridge Club ;
"They have a lot of experience and I believe they will do very well. I am sure they will one day be world champions at senior level."

Jason is based in Manchester, England along with his other expert family members, Jason has also shared in the Hacketts' unprecedented success.
He became Britain's youngest ever Grand Master at the age of 24, and is the only person to have reached that rank whilst still a junior.

Jason offers a diplomatic answer to the obvious question; which twin is best?

"It goes up and down, it's fairly even. The strength is in the partnership rather than the individual thing."

Currently Jason is captaining the English Juniors when not taking time of to go bungee jumping or scuba diving.

With so much already achieved, Jason has his eye on one particular prize, the Bermuda Bowl, "probably the biggest prize in Bridge".
