Karen Allison resides in Las Vegas where she is a cat mom to two cats, Stella and Stanley. She has a very interesting occupation, selling subscriptions for Carnegie Hall in NYC, and the Nevada Ballet Theater in Las Vegas. She was the first person to commentate on bridge matches online, starting with the Albuquerque world championships.

Her achievements at the bridge table are too numerous to mention. Highlights include being the first woman to play Open Teams Olympiad for Canada, Silver Medal in Albuquerque Women's Teams, Fourth by an eyelash in Montreal Women's Pairs, winning several U.S. NABC's and numerous Regional events. Her current bridge partner is Peggy Sutherlin and her team has been 1st,1st,2nd,2nd in the past four NABC Women's Team events.

She speaks English, French and smatterings of other languages.
