After splinter, turn to NT or suit shows bad hand, new suit bids at four level show good hand.

Suit bids at five level show number of key cards (start 5§) and very good hand.

 

3rd suit forcing

 

Used for:

- learning three card fit

- learning stopper unbid suit
- learning strength and distribution
- forcing sequences!

 

Normally used with good unbid suit, but if you think slam, used with economic unbid suit. If you think, partner possible has four card in 3rd suit, use 3rd suit with 13+ HCP.

Attention!

 

If opener rebid 4th suit
- turn responding suit or rebid 3rd suit is forcing
- but return opener minor in three or four level with non jump is non-forcing. Because responder

  can’t Pass 4th suit and may no other choice with 11 HCP.
